Appearance	Blake is 5.9” tall and 165 pounds with an athletic build more centered on speed then strength. Like most Efrosian males he has white hair, faint cranial ridges, and fair skin.
Personality	Blake’s personality is friendly if not a little cold at first. However he can become combative especially in matters involving his duties. Blake also enjoys arguments and is known to play “Devils Advocate” because of his belief that all sides of an argument should be considered.
Family	Blake has a mother and father, Danalia and Vegan as well as one sister named Dinelan and three brothers Norn, Kodar, and Galen who died recenyl from a terminal illness.
Background	Blake Daggerd was born to Danalia and Vegan Daggerd in the year 2365. From childhood Danalia Daggerd has been intrigued by earth and its history thus she named her son Blake a traditional human name. Both Danalia and Vegan have been active in federation politics all there life and so were each of there families. One of Vegan’s distant relatives was even federation president during the year 2293. For these reasons Blake has been heavily influenced towards politics from youth. While growing up on the frozen planet of Efros, with his sister, and three brothers, Blake was often left in the care of other family members while his Father attended political events and his mother was tending to his brother Galen who had contracted a mysteries terminal illness. When Blake became older he would go on survival and hunting trips with the other men in the village and his brothers, which is where he first developed his interest in military tactics and survival. At the age of nineteen Blake joined the Efrosian planetary guard but with his fathers influence he was quickly discharged. After having him removed from the Efrosian guard his parents sent him to Vulcan, hoping it was not to late to make him a politician like most of his family before him. After a few some times on Vulcan studying political science Blake took a stand against his parents and applied to Starfleet Academy. At first they reacted with disappointment but eventually they became proud to have a son in starfleet. After series thought Blake decided he would like to study Security and tactics at the academy and did so after passing his entrance exam. In the academy he excelled in all of his classes graduating with degrees in hand-to-hand combat, starship arms and a special course in contact weapons. Blake was extremely adept at bladed combat becoming skilled in several weapons including the Bat’Leth, D’K’Tahg, and Ushaan-Tor. He started his Starfleet career as a security officer on the USS tundra a New Orleans Class starship were he would spend most of his time as a security officer until he was first transferred and promoted. During his time as a security officer Daggerd spend the majority of his time on the USS Tundra after a brief post on the USS Leviathan. While posted on the USS Liberty received word of his transfer to the USS Discovery when he received word that his brother Galen had died from his mysteries illness. After attending the funeral of his Brother and seeing his siblings again he boarded a shuttle to the USS Discovery were he was only briefly posted. After his time on the Discovery he was moved to the USS Sentinel were he hopes he will have a more permanent stay.
